A common misconception is that people with mental health problems do not work – not so. However this assumption has lead to stress, anxiety and depression having long been ignored within the workplace. What is Southern Entrepreneurs?
Southern Entrepreneurs is an Eastleigh Borough Council project to help small businesses across Hampshire to start up, and existing small businesses to grow and prosper. The service is local and offers businesses the personal service lacking in some larger initiatives.
FREE membership is limited to sole traders, franchises and small businesses based in the south of Hampshire. We offer training, (which is either FREE or heavily subsidised depending on where your business is based )or just motivational and networking opportunities if you prefer - our aim is to provide or sign post to the most suitable solution. We give you the choice of the help you require, we never decide for you.
Our Business Support Manager offers support and guidance along with motivation and inspiration, and will tailor the service to your individual needs. We provide regular networking opportunities and produce a monthly newsletter in which members can advertise. There is an option to be included in the Business Directory which is widely publicised to the general public and other businesses.
