What is Southern Entrepreneurs?
Southern Entrepreneurs is an Eastleigh Borough Council service founded with the objective of encouraging local economic development by helping small businesses in the Hampshire area to start up, and existing small businesses to grow and prosper.
The project is open to sole traders, franchises and businesses employing less than 20 staff. It was established in 2004 and has over 500 members ranging from beauty therapists to psychologists, including retail, manufacturing, service and creative industries to name but a few.
Members can tap into a wealth of professional resources and opportunities including:

- networking events
- website
- online business directory
- monthly magazine
- support and guidance
Members are contacted regularly about their training needs. The array of free one-day training courses are available on topics ranging from marketing and time management to e-business and Excel databases. For details of training click on "se training"
